Sherlock: 10 Worst Things Sherlock Holmes Ever Did

9. Refusing To Wear Clothes To Buckingham Palace

The monarchy to many people is everything, but to others, it's hardly the be-all and end-all. Still, even those who couldn't care less about the royal family would have the common decency to put something on if taken to their home. In fact, walking into anyone's house sporting nothing but a bedsheet is rather atrocious behaviour.

During the episode "A Scandal In Belgravia", Sherlock and Watson are taken to the mighty British building to meet Mycroft and discuss a scandal involving a royal family member. Sherlock is tasked with uncovering this issue and retaining some highly sensitive information from the infamous Irene Adler.

Of course, he receives all of these instructions whilst sat in the palace essentially naked. While it did make for a highly amusing moment that may have paid some fan service to certain sides of the viewer base, it ultimately made Sherlock look like an incessant little brat.

To be fair, a lot of his charm comes from how childish and stubborn he is, so although his behaviour here was terrible, it wasn't off-brand for him.
