If there is one thing that Series Three has lacked, it was explanation of the question that everyones been asking. While I appreciate the mystery the writers have by not telling us, its really incredibly annoying that we still dont know. Will we find out this season? Will we ever find out? Does it matter how he did it? The writers are probably trying to convey to us through the completely insane ideas shown that it doesnt really matter how he did, and that weve all spent too much time on it, we know that. It was also probably used to show us how insane some of the theories we convinced ourselves to be true were. The fact is we already know that we went a bit crazy in two years, but that doesnt make us want to know any less! Sure, maybe we should have spent the last two years in the shoes of the characters who were dealing with the loss of their friend, but feelings arent part of Sherlock! If I want to be sad Ill go watch the regeneration episode of Doctor Who, thank you. At this point I find it incredibly unlikely that well ever find out exactly how he did it, because the plot has moved on, and so must we. Who am I kidding? We need to know! Hopefully Moffat will do what he normally does and pull an explanation out in the last episode of the series. Thats what Im banking on. If not, then we put on our deerstalkers and our belstaffs and scarves and continue to deduce those moments in the Reichenbach Fall and theorize til our hands hurt. I only expect more questions to become unanswered throughout the season. What questions do you hope get answered?
I'm currently attending my local college while trying to figure out who I am. I love Doctor Who, Sherlock, really any BBC show. I've also been told I'm a bit of a nerd. Specifically, a theatre nerd.
