Sherlock: 5 Questions We Hope Are Answered In Series Three

Sherlock is known for giving us more questions than answers by the end of the episode, and The Empty Hearse and Sign of Three was no exception.

With a new series of Sherlock underway, I think it€™s good to look back on five questions that the first annd second episodes of Season Three have left us with. Sherlock is a show known for giving us more questions than answers by the end of the episode, and The Empty Hearse and Sign of Three was no exception. It's all coming down to His Final Vow, which promises to be a exciting episode to rival the Reichenbach Fall. With the new series underway, many of us expected an episode to be filled with answers that have plagued the fandom for two years €“ however so far we've only gotten answerless €“ albeit good €“ episodes from Mark Gatiss. Some of this includes some interesting deducing about Mary Morstan, missing people from series one and two, some interesting things about Mycroft, and of course the ominous man at the end of the episode. But above all, we still don€™t know how Sherlock pulled off his fake death! For many Sherlockians, the fact that we still don€™t know how Sherlock faked his death was something that many of us harped on for much of the never-ending hiatus between series two and three. While those theories were mentioned, everything from something incredibly plausible to something out of bad fanfiction, we never got a direct answer. But there were also other questions posed that we€™re likely €“ hopefully €“ to get an answer to in the next two episodes. We can only hope.

I'm currently attending my local college while trying to figure out who I am. I love Doctor Who, Sherlock, really any BBC show. I've also been told I'm a bit of a nerd. Specifically, a theatre nerd.
