The Simpsons - 10 Classic Easter Eggs You Probably Missed In Season 17

5. Serious Homer Is The Monorail Conductor - We're On The Road To D'oh-where

Throughout the series Homer's mind has been home to various different things that boost his stupidity - a symbol-crashing monkey, black-and-white cartoons and even a literal crayon. In We're On The Road To D'oh-where there's an Inside Out-style expansion of this, with various facets of Homer's personality personified - Serious Homer has held Fun Homer hostage and actually got rid of Intelligent Homer. What makes this more than just another cutaway is the clothes Serious Homer sports - he's wearing the Monorail conductor uniform from the absolutely classic Marge Vs. The Monorail. Despite being hired out of chance and renowned for his stupidity in the role, saving the day in a semi-fluke, does Homer somehow think of his train driving days as the height of seriousness?
