Why He Should Die: Sideshow Mel is a frequently recurring Simpsons side character, though it's safe to say that memorable moments are few and far between: he's usually just the sad sack playing second fiddle to Krusty and little else. A prime candidate to be bumped off, then. Method Of Death: The obvious answer is to die while performing one of Krusty's infamously demanding stunts, an exceedingly elaborate one which finally puts the character to bed for good. How Likely Is It?: Mel is a pretty common fixture on the show, so the staff clearly likes having him around. Plus, killing him off will only require the writers to come up with another sidekick for Krusty, so it's unlikely he's going anywhere anytime soon. 3/10
