The Simpsons: 12 Celebrity Voiceovers You May Have Missed

2. Winona Ryder

WinonaryderPlayed: Allison Taylor Episode: Lisa's Rival Lisa's role as the overachiever in Miss Hoover's class is under threat from the new girl, Allison, who is younger, smarter and even better at saxophone than she is. Lisa tries to make friends with Allison but her jealousy overwhelms her, forcing her to enlist Bart in creating a scheme to undermine Allison at the upcoming Diorama-rama. They switch her presentation of Edgar Allen Poe's 'The Tell-Tale Heart' with a rotten cow's heart, to everyone's disgust. However, Lisa's cannot live with the guilt, and confesses to the scheme. The contest is won, surprisingly, by Ralph Wiggum, who presents a number of classic Star Wars action figures still in their original packaging. Skinner awards first prize to Ralph, and Lisa and Allison leave as friends. Outside, Ralph catches up with them but trips over, landing on his presentation and uttering the immortal line "I bent my Wookiee". The unassuming voice of Winona Ryder is pretty hard to detect at first, as Allison's sweet character was perhaps slightly different to those she may have been more noted for at the time.
