17. Sailboat
The biggest feature of the Simpson's living room is of course the brown couch, central to all those gags we've seen at the beginning of each episode. Just behind it however is a crude painting of a sailboat, which some fans may not have paid too much attention to in the past. However, prior to the 2001 episode 'The Parent Rap', we see the Simpson family stood inside the sailboat above their couch, before jumping into the "water" and ending up sat in their living room in front of the television, albeit a little wet afterwards.
