Earlier this year, show-creator Matt Groening invited his fans to enter their own 'couch gags' to be judged in a contest to decide the victor, and the lucky winner was Cheryl Brown. Over 30,000 other entries were entered by viewers, and producers animated their three favourites after whittling them all down to a shortlist of sorts, before Cheryl's winning idea was picked to appear on the season 24 finale of the Simpsons.
