In season twenty, Homer and Marge reminisce about their courtship and in particular a rendezvous at a rental cabin that tested their resolve to be faithful to one another in season twenty's Dangerous Curves. Similar in tone to The Way We Weren't the episode shows both character's perspectives, and involves a young Ned and Maude Flanders - which means that as with That '90s Show it's something of a retconning of Simpsons history. However, the slight against established canon is minor compared to the earlier episode, and Dangerous Curves is at least watchable. It's a bit of a silly exercise given you know how things turned out, but it still has its moments. It simply suffers from better episodes having come before it.
