3. The Supporting Cast
Since it began, Skins has been as notable for its high profile supporting cast as it is for the majority the main characters being played by teenagers with no previous acting experience. And Series 7 looks to be keeping up that tradition. Effys episodes seem to boast the most impressive guest stars, with a cast that includes Kayvan Novak (Facejacker) playing Effys boss Jake, Lara Pulver (Sherlock) as bitchy hedge fund employee Victoria, and Craig Roberts (Submarine) as one of Effys colleagues who seems to develop a grudge against her later in her story. And of course, Naomi and Emily make a comeback in Effys episodes, living with her and trying to stop her ruining her life by becoming involved in shady financial dealings orchestrated by Jake. A strong supporting cast has always been a crucial part of Skins and it seems that at least the first few episodes of Series 7 will be upholding that standard. Lets hope it lasts for the whole series.
