Sons Of Anarchy: 10 Best Episodes

6. Aon Rud Persanta (Season 6, Episode 11)

How ironic that this episode's title means 'nothing personal' in Gaelic because everything about it was personal for every character involved.

After bringing the club into drugs, guns and so much more, Clay finally had his long overdue meeting with Mr. Mayhem following decades of bad deeds. Seeing the shock on his face as Jax and the rest of the group gun down Galen O'Shay in front of him, only for it to turn into begrudging acceptance once he realised it was nothing more than a clever ploy to allow the club to put the blame on Galen for his death was priceless

Aon Rud Persanta is such an important episode because killing Clay was like getting rid of a cancerous tumour that was growng inside of the club. Having everyone inside the air hangar, including Gemma, Tara and even Nero, meant that pretty much anyone Clay had hurt who was involved in the club somehow was there to see him die.

Although it had been awhile since he was the club's leader, this episode finally put the nail in the coffin in his relationship with SAMCRO and it was certainly a fitting end.
