Sons Of Anarchy: 10 Most Hated Episodes

3. Faith & Despondency (S7E10)

Sons Of Anarchy Jax Fun Town
FX

There were plenty of deaths that shook the Sons of Anarchy to their corein season seven. Arguably, none affected more people, or hit as hard as Bobby's death. He meant a whole lot to a lot of people, and his murder was tough to take.

At the beginning of 'Faith and Despondency', the episode opened with a montage of sex. Two and a half solid minutes of several separate couples all connected to the club having intercourse as a way of trying to cope with the pain of losing someone so close to them.

Needless to say, there was a lot of skin on show, and more than a few close-up shots of Jax and Nero's respective behinds. Though there was no full-frontal nudity, this offended the Parents Television Council, who essentially described the episode's first scenes as pornography.

These parents were upset at the prospect of having their children exposed to such images, and felt that FX should have long before been a premium network that required a subscription. This kind of thing shouldn't have been available to just everyone automatically. However, as this episode was just three from the end of the entire series, surely enough time had passed that anyone watching should have come to expect the possibility of violence and the occasional sex scene, right?
