Sons Of Anarchy 7.12 Review - 5 Talking Points From Red Rose
4. The Mayhem Vote
With everything else going on, the situation with the other charters has been relegated to the background, but in the end it may have the most impact. When the other presidents ride up to meet with Jax, he comes clean about the entire ordeal involving himself and Jury. It's hard to see the logic in this unless he truly wants free himself of the guilt and the lies, but his confession of what went down that day is leading to a mayhem vote. Jax assures his peers that he will make sure his club goes along with the vote provided they agree to remove an SoA by-law. This request wasn't shown on-screen but it likely involved the exclusion of members of color since that had been touched on previously. It's just difficult to imagine that that means so much to Teller to the point where he would essentially make that his last request. So will Jax meet Mr. Mayhem at the hands of his own club? It would be fiercely poetic as an ending, that's for sure. Is he going to fake his death and move to the farm with Nero, Wendy and the boys? Or is the vote going to swing his way?
