Sons Of Anarchy 7.12 Review - 5 Talking Points From Red Rose
3. Juice Finishes His Pie
In the history of Sons Of Anarchy, no one (other than perhaps Opie) has had a more tumultuous ride that Juan Carlos Ortiz. He's been used as a pawn in so many different games, always having his loyalty tested and being pulled in different deadly directions that he's become an audience favorite and someone who our sympathies lie with. Theo Rossi has been amazing taking Juice from a peripheral character to a focal point that breaks viewers' hearts nearly every episode. The prospect of Juice making it out alive was a pipe dream, but fans still allowed themselves to have hope, mainly because he had already suffered so much in the name of his club. It wasn't to be, and once he had accepted that fate, he chose his own terms. The saddest aspect was that even though his death was decreed by his club, he still used his own murder as his final act of loyalty, allowing Tully to be the one to kill him to maintain good relations with the Sons. The ultimate act of devotion from a man they deemed a disgraced traitor.
