2. Katey Sagal - Gemma Teller-Morrow
The matriarch of the motorcycle club, Gemma Teller Morrow had been grooming her son Jax to take over the Sons of Anarchy. Originally married to his father John, when the series starts, she is now married to his former friend, and current club president, Clay Morrow. Always scheming and pulling strings, Gemma has conflicts with anyone that gets in SAMCRO and/or Jax's way...including Tara. Jax ends up taking his mother's life after finding out she had killed Tara.
A veteran of beloved TV shows such as Married with Children and Futurama, Katey Sagal was a perfect fit to step into the role of Gemma. It also helps that she's married to show creator, Kurt Sutter. Sagal has also had roles in her husband's other shows like The Bastard Executioner and Mayans MC.
With SOA over, she has had guest starring roles in TV shows such as Shameless, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and The Connors.
