Sons Of Anarchy Cast: Where Are They All Now?
1. Charlie Hunnam - "Jax" Teller
The show's "Hamlet" and main protagonist, Jackson Teller is a natural born leader with looks, charisma, and intelligence. Always trying to do right by the club and its members, Jax is constantly trying to steer SAMCRO into a less violent path with less crime and more legitimate financial stability. Although he wanted to lead a decent life, he ended up with one of the longest lists of kills to any other character in the series.
British actor Charlie Hunnam portrayed Jax for every episode of Sons of Anarchy. He got his start in the British drama Queer as Folk in 1999. He transitioned to U.S. TV screens when he landed a role on Judd Apatow's sitcom Undeclared. Hunnam then moved on to movies after that, appearing in Children of Men, Green Street Hooligans, and Cold Mountain.
Hunnam has been searching for his next defining role after Jax Teller. He was the lead in Pacific Rim, but chose against returning for the sequel. He turned down the main character for 50 Shades of Grey and his take on King Arthur flopped at the box office. In 2019, he had starring roles in The Gentlemen and the Netflix action movie Triple Frontier.
He's next set to star in Waldo, alongside Mel Gibson and Morena Baccarin. He is also currently working on a new TV series called Shantaram.
