Launched back in 2008, Sons of Anarchy ran for seven seasons on FX, with the drama details the lives and deaths of members of SAMCRO (Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original).

Centred on Charlie Hunnam's protagonist, the series mixed its biker trappings with a strong Shakespearean influence, often being referred to as 'Hamlet on Harleys', and even referencing the play in some of its episode titles.

The show received critical acclaim across its entire run, with particular praise for the performances of Hunnam and Katey Sagal, and gained a strong following too, often averaging around 4-5m viewers and last year leading to a spin-off series. It's been off the air for almost five years now, but the interest in the show still hasn't waned given how much it rewards rewatching.
