There are a few great redemption stories throughout Sons of Anarchy, one of the most surprising of which was Wendy's. She should have been irredeemable from the start, after her drug abuse while pregnant caused Abel to be born ten weeks premature, but by the series finale, she was the most stable female role model in Abel and Thomas' lives.

Though she bumped heads with with Jax, Gemma, and Tara at different times after she returned to Charming, she only ever had Abel's best interests at heart, save for one weak moment when she blurted out that she was his real mommy.

She was drawn into playing mind games by the boys' mother and grandmother, and after she helped Tara fake both a pregnancy and a miscarriage, she fell off the wagon and went back to the drugs. This was short-lived however, and before long she was essentially a live-in nanny for Abel and Thomas.

Despite what happened during her pregnancy, years later she had grown and matured to no end, and there wasn't anyone who had a bad word to say about her.
