9. SAMCRO Welcomes A New Member

When the vote to induct Grim Bastards leader T.O. as a member of SAMCRO was held, the answer to the unwritten by-law that Jax discussed with the other presidents was revealed. The decree that the Sons Of Anarchy would not include any black members has been thrown out and T.O. became the first African-American member of the MC. The sad part of this is that the entire tragedy of Juice and all that he endured was spearheaded by the police using the secret that he was half-black against him as leverage. Juice was so entrenched in his loyalty to the club that he was convinced that being mixed-race would exclude him from membership and it caused him to commit acts that his brothers considered betrayal, all of which sent him spiraling on the path that ultimately led to his being branded a traitor and his brutal murder at the hands of Tully.
