While Ethan Zobelle brought trouble to Charming in the show's second season, it was A.J. Weston who provided the muscle to make it tangible. A white separatist leader of the League of American Nationalists, Weston's defining despicable moment occurred shortly after his arrival in town, when him and his men raped Gemma as a message to Clay for his continued involvement with minorities. Over the course of the season, the club managed to turn Weston against Zobelle, convince the CPS to take away his kids and led him and his men into a trap involving the Sons themselves, the Triads and the One-Niners. Eventually, Weston is arrested, only to be freed again and followed by the Sons to a tattoo parlor where his fate is sealed. In a shockingly strong moment, Weston is given the chance to say goodbye to his son, warning him to never speak about what was happening before requesting that the Sons keep his son from seeing it all go down. Jax then kills Weston with a silenced pistol, putting a satisfying end to one of the show's darkest, most dangerous villains.
