South Park: 10 Times Butters Was TOO Innocent
7. Leopold 'Mantequilla' Stotch
With all of the chaos that the kids of South Park cause, it can be easy to forget at times that they are all just a bunch of 10 year olds, who sometimes just do kid stuff.
For example, in the episode, The Last of the Meheecans, they are all engaging in a classic game of Texans Versus Mexicans. Standard fourth grader stuff, of course. The rules are simple enough, with one team trying to prevent the other from hopping over Cartman's backyard fence and crossing the border.
Butters, ever trying to fit in, takes his role as a Mexican very seriously and dons the persona of 'Mantequilla.' Long after everyone else has made it over the fence and stopped playing, Butters is still trying to get himself across the border.
He ends up getting lost, taken in by a couple who believe him to be a lost Mexican child and put to work by them. He commits so well to the role in fact, that he makes it to the actual border between the U.S and Mexico, and becomes a national symbol of revolution for the Mexican people.
The episode ends with Butters using everything he has learned on his immense journey to finally hop over Cartman's fence, and claim victory for team Mexico. All in a day's work for Mantequilla.
