9. The Dog Whisperer Disciplines Cartman
Episode: Tsst (Season 10, Episode 7)
Liane Cartman has reached her limits with her son and needs to bring in a reality star expert to help control his behaviour. She turns to Nanny 911, Supernanny and other various sources but all of them can’t handle the challenge of Cartman. Her last resort is to turn to Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer.
Instead of treating Cartman like a human, he approaches him as if he were a dog. And fair enough, it gets results.
Cartman suffers the degradation of having to be put on a leash like a pet, not being able to eat KFC and being given shocks to the neck in order to calm him down. His behaviour improves over time until he becomes a sensible young boy (after almost attempting to kill his own mother).
Sadly, Liane can’t bear to be alone so she decides to give in to anything Cartman wishes if it means she has company besides her, thus all the hard work of The Dog Whisperer is ruined and Eric reverts back to his old ways.
Cartman's smile at the very end, knowing he has control over his mother, is perhaps the most unsettling thing you'll ever see on the show.
