Star Trek: 5 Biggest Examples Of Klingons Being Dishonourable

1. Glommers

Of all the rivalries throughout Star Trek, that of Klingons and Tribbles, who both despise each other equally, is perhaps the one that is looked upon most fondly by fans. They have always been a favourite since their first appearance in the Original Series episode The Trouble With Tribbles, and were welcomed back with open arms in the Animated episode More Tribbles, More Troubles. It was also this appearance in which they faced their biggest threat. Kahless himself once said that "destroying an empire to win a war is no victory". Put simply, and as any other decent race in the galaxy will also tell you, genocide is dishonourable. Any other race would probably also tell you that the killing of little balls of fur (population control notwithstanding) would be, if not dishonourable, certainly disdainful. With these two things in mind then, the fact that Klingons genetically engineered a predator with the sole purpose of wiping out the entire race of cute and defenceless Tribbles seems downright unfathomable.
