Star Trek: 8 Easter Eggs From The Picard Season 2 Trailer
2. "Family" Heirlooms

Picard's study in this trailer is just full of small little touches and details that call back to Star Trek: The Next Generation and the TNG movies.
We've already mentioned the famous "original" Enterprise-D painting, but another mainstay of Picard's ready room appears here: The Mintakan tapestry is draped over what appears to be a chair from either the Enterprise-D or E. This tapestry was given to Picard by the porto-Vucaln people of Mintaka III in the episode "Who Watches the Watchers" and appeared in Picard's quarters throughout TNG before moving to his ready room in Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek: Insurrection (though it was mysteriously absent in Star Trek Nemesis).
To the right of the fireplace is the Kurlan naiskos, given to Picard by his old mentor, Professor Galen in the episode "The Chase". The naiskos appeared throughout TNG's final year in Picard's ready room, before being found (and unceremoniously tossed aside) in the wreckage of the Enterprise-D in Star Trek Generations. Next to the naiskos is also Picard's sextant which previously appeared in his quarters in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek Nemesis.
To the left of the fireplace are Volumes 1 and 2 of The Annotated Shakespeare, last seen in Picard's vault at the Starfleet Quantum Archive, but a mainstay of his ready room aboard the USS Enterprise-D. Squint really hard and you can see the book is open to same page as it was when it was last seen aboard the Enterprise in Star Trek Generations.
The mantle itself holds the ammonite Picard previously displayed in his ready room aboard both the Enterprise-D and E, last seen in Star Trek Nemesis. The mantle also contains one of the deepest cuts we've seen yet: A bronze figure of a horse and plowman which previously adorned the mantle at the Picard Family residence as depicted in TNG's "Family".
