Star Trek: Discovery 3.1 Review - Ups And Downs From That Hope Is You

1. Easter Eggs

Star Trek Discovery Season 3 Title
Paramount

The episode was relatively light on Easter Eggs, something that serves the first episode well. As this episode is something of a reboot, it is good to see it try and establish its own footing.

However, some Easter Eggs do get through and here they are:

Quantum Slipstream Drive and Benemite (Star Trek: Voyager)

Tachyon Solar Sails (Deep Space Nine)

Trilithium (Generations)

The Gorn (TOS) damaging all of subspace for two lights (could this be a reference to Omega?)

The aforementioned Alien races

The Temporal Wars (Enterprise)

Nearest Wormhole is 100 Light Years away (Deep Space Nine)

Delta Shield is finally referred to by name!
