Star Trek: Discovery Season 3.13 Review: Ups And Downs From That Hope Is You - Part 2

5. Just How Big Is This Ship?

Don't get me wrong - the visuals in this week's episode were stellar, and the entire sequence aboard the turbolift was a treat for the eyes. Burnham and Book's dash through the ship to try to wrest control back from Osyrra's people is exciting and tense, while also teaching us that it is NEVER OK to insult Grudge. Ever. Serves you right, Zareh.

However.

Exactly how big is this ship? The space that the turbolift passes through is ENORMOUS. It looks as though the two of them are trying to battle their way through a space station, not a starship. It feels as though if one looks closely, they'll see the Excelsior parked up and ready for transwarp trials.

It pushed the bounds of suspension of disbelief this week. The idea that Disco is big? No worries. That it is this big? Come on now.
