Star Trek: Discovery - Ups And Downs For Season 3 Episode 4 Forget Me Not

1. Welcome Back Zora (UP)

Star Trek Discovery Zora
CBS

The Star Trek: Short Treks episode Calypso remains one of the best Star Trek stories in a long time, telling the tale of a lonely, sentient starship and her sole human companion. That starship was the Discovery, yet she was going by the name of Zora.

Zora, voiced by Annabelle Wallis, finally returns nearly two years later. The sphere data has now fully merged with the Discovery, creating an idea of sentience in the ship. The first act of this new sentience (not including raising the shields in the pervious season to prevent their destruction) is to suggest that the crew need a little r&r.

While Saru possibly should have had a bigger reaction to the idea that his ship is alive, the scene is an exciting one. Those who have waited patiently to see how Calypso fit into the overall narrative are being quickly rewarded with the third season of Discovery.
