Another deep cut on Tulgana IV is the backside of a tall, yellow, bird-like alien dating back to the 1973 Star Trek: The Animated Series episode "Yesteryear".

Like the Ariolos from the same establishing shot, this is the first appearance of this alien race since their first appearance decades ago and a nice nod to the very first animated Trek series.
