Star Trek: Picard - 8 Ups & 2 Downs From The Impossible Box

7. There He Is...

Picard Borg
CBS

Jean-Luc Picard has felt different in this show. Gone is the man who'd straighten his uniform and cut very matter of fact speeches while staring out of the window of his Ready Room, replaced by a man who simply seen it all now and is considerably softer around the edges. Retirement hasn't suited him, but he's always felt like he just needed a little push.

That little push arrived in the shape of Agnes who, accidentally or otherwise, set him off about his history with the Borg. Flying straight past the humanitarian of The Next Generation and into the vengeful survivor of First Contact, it was one of the show's best moments thus far. Even if I did have to google what "metastasize" meant.
