He rolls under a console and stumbles upon Hugh's Fenris Ranger keychain. This is the same type of device Seven of Nine gave Picard in "Stardust City Rag" that she said he could use if he ever needed her help.
Elnor knows what this is and activates it, intiating an SOS and leaving us hanging for another week.
