Star Trek Picard: Every Easter Egg & Hidden Reference From 'Nepenthe'

Back on Nepenthe, Picard tells Riker about his new sort of friends on the La Sirena, describing them as a motley crew. He says Rios, Agnes, and Raffi have been nothing but drama and that they've got more baggage than the Enterprise crew ever had. This is clearly a reference to the different styles of drama between Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Picard and, as much of this episode is, a reminder of the good old days, the 2360s.

Picard and Riker sit on Golden Pond and Riker mentions he's still on active reserve, but there'd have to be a very good reason for him to ship out again. Like maybe a season finale?

Picard thanks Riker for not trying to talk him out of his midadventure, a reference to the many times Riker attempted to prevent the captain from heading an away team, an issue specifically addressed way back in the TNG pilot "Encounter at Farpoint".
