1. We've Only Just Begun
The USS Protostar blasts off into a vibrant, nebula-filled space vista, presumably with the Prodigy kids aboard as Goldsmith's fanfare swells and Dal observes "there are a lot more stars than I thought."
The big moment in the trailer, of course, is the disembodied voice of Kate Mulgrew's Janeway telling the kids and the audience "We've only just begun".
According to the Star Trek: Prodigy character reveals back in June, Mulgrew will be playing a version of Captain Janeway in holographic form, an "Emergency Training Hologram." During the SDCC panel, Mulgrew enthused that the character has all the traits of the real Vice Admiral Janeway and will guide the show's young heroes to a new galaxy, not just another quadrant.
Star Trek: Prodigy premieres on Paramount Plus later this year.
