Star Wars Rebels: Everything We Know About The Rumoured Ahsoka TV Show
2. The Rebels Sequel Series
According to Fandomwire, Ahsoka’s series would also function as a sequel series to Star Wars: Rebels. Rebels ran from 2014 until 2018 on Disney XD, and focuses on an original group of heroes fighting in the same Rebellion as Luke, Han, and Leia. Ahsoka appears in a handful of episodes throughout the series’ run, so pairing her up with the cast of Rebels makes sense.
The series would follow Ahsoka, who would team up with Star Wars: Rebels protagonists Hera Syndulla, Zeb Orrelios, and Chopper, as they search for their friend Ezra Bridger. The last time we saw Ahsoka chronologically was in Family Reunion - and Farewell, the Rebels series finale, when she teams up with Sabine Wren to search for Ezra. Curiously, Sabine was not mentioned in this report. Other prominent Rebels characters left out of the report entirely include Agent Kallus, Hera’s young son Jason, and the space pirate Hondo Ohnaka.
If the plot does feature a quest to find Ezra, then Ahsoka’s series would fit nicely as a Rebels sequel, following its cliffhanger ending.
