Star Wars Rebels Season 4: 13 Questions That Must Be Answered

Being the only real Lasat we know in the Star Wars universe, Zeb must survive. This is just my wishful thinking, but there is so much potential for his character going forward. His species may have resettled in an uncharted quadrant of space, free from the Empire and out of the way for the original trilogy, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be explored further.

He is categorized as the survivor in the trailer. But then again, Zeb already survived the loss of his species once. Surviving the loss of his friends may be too much.

As for Kanan… I worry for Kanan. At the beginning of Zero Hour, Kanan and Ezra talked about their relationship as student and master, and many thought that Kanan would meet his end by the seasons end.

Thankfully he didn’t, but of all the characters, Kanan is the one least likely to make it past the final episode. He is a fantastic character, don't get me wrong. He is the father of all the group, but it’s hard to see how his story could continue into the original trilogy. But dying to protect his family, that is a fitting end for Kanan’s story; the Jedi who survived Order 66, went into hiding, but then found a new purpose, a new family, a new hope.
