Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Trailer Breakdown: 16 Things You Need To See

Saw Gerrara is indeed back as confirmed by Dave Filoni in the season finale of Rebels Recon, hinting that in this next season we will see the reason why the extremist ultimately breaks from the Rebel Alliance. Given that this is the final season and Rebels has the opportunity to finish its storylines without an unforeseen cancellation, it’s a certainty that this will be the case.

Forest Whittaker will be back to voice the character he brought to life on the big screen, and it has also been confirmed that he will joined by another Rogue One character, his fellow cell member Edrio Two Tubes. Edrio is the one who Riz Ahmed’s character, Bohdi, initially mistakes for being Saw and is the one who leads their forces in ground assaults, presumably when Saw loses his legs.

And if you also look closely at the shot of him in the trailer, in the background, just out of frame is something that looks like what could be a kyber crystal – and a big one at that. There is even a point where we see a kyber-explosion, similiar to the one we've seen in Season One's episode Breaking Ranks, when Hera and Kanan attack an Imperial kyber shipment. This would certainly tie in nicely to his motivations for being on Jedha by the events of Rogue One and bring his character full circle.
