Star Wars: The Bad Batch - 8 Ideas It Must Explore
6. Developing The Bad Batch
This is a given as the show will focus on them. However, The Bad Batch felt very one dimensional in their debut appearance, owing to the fact that four episodes were not enough to really get a sense for each character.
We did however begin to see some of the dynamics between the squad mates that will likely go on to form the basis of the show. With the re-introduction of Echo, fans have a familiar face that can be used to give exposition to the inner workings of the squad and what makes each one of them tick.
For the show to follow in the footsteps of The Clone Wars and Rebels, and to succeed as more than just an action cartoon, it will need to focus on developing each one of The Bad Batch into three dimensional characters and not just obvious military stereotypes.
