One of the newer additions to Netflix’s sci-fi show, Robin (Maya Hawke) joined season three working at Scoops Ahoy alongside Steve Harrington. She quickly became a fan-favourite character thanks to her quick wit and the strong bonds she formed with the other members of the Scoop Troop.

Robin became involved in the plans to save Hawkins after overhearing Dustin and Steve talking about a secret Russian transmission. Bored of slinging ice cream, she persuades the others (who’ve made zero progress) to let her to try cracking the code – which she does. From herein Robin became an invaluable member of the team. In fact, without her help Steve and Dustin would have likely remained clueless.

In addition to deciphering a coded message, Robin played a huge role in helping Steve on his three-season journey to become less of a narcissistic jerk. The pair form an unbreakable bond throughout their ordeal despite Robin initially harbouring dislike to her co-worker. And in a touching heart-to-heart in a filthy bathroom, the pair’s friendship broke new ground when Robin opened-up about her sexuality.

Now working with Steve at a video store, more Robin in the next season can only be a good thing for everyone.
