After accidentally opening ‘The Gate’ whilst being experimented on in Hawkins Lab, Eleven is finally able to confront her past when she arrives back at her birthplace with Hopper.
Eleven’s psychic powers prove so powerful in her effort to close the gate once and for all, that she actually levitates a few feet off the ground. Her emotional intelligence, derived from focusing on her memories, helps her to finally overcome her demons.
Pretty powerful stuff, especially when she gets a well deserved hug and kiss from her soon to be dad.
