Stranger Things: Every Main Character Ranked Worst To Best

14. Will Byers

Stranger Things
Netflix

Now obviously Will is a lot less morally bankrupt than Billy, and he’s not this low in the list for being an inherently bad person. Simply put, he's down here because he's the least developed member of the main cast.

Even Billy, for all his flaws, has some character development and personality. Will seems to be much the same in season three as he is in season one: nervous, quiet, and never one to take charge of a situation. In the first run of episodes, he was the inciting incident for the main cast’s adventures and barely appeared himself. In season two, while his screen time was drastically increased, he again didn’t have much more to do than act as a walking plot device.

Season three appears to be even less keen to utilise him, as for most of the season he is relegated to informing the other characters when the Mind Flayer is nearby by dramatically rubbing his neck.

Hopefully, poor Will gets a little more to do in the fourth season than just scream or look worried.

Owen Davies hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
