4. Dart Kills Dustin's Cat (Chapter 4)

It's all fun and games as Dustin enjoys having his new pet pollywog...until Dart starts growing larger and decides that candy won't satisfy his appetites anymore.

After finding Dart's tank broken and littered with shed skin, Dustin hears a bestial cry from the other end of the room, and upon investigating, finds Dart snacking on Mews, the beloved family cat.

It's arguably the most shocking and WTF moment from the entire season, both thoroughly grotesque and undeniably hilarious in its own way.

Above all else, it was sure confirmation that Dart wasn't simply a cute little creature, and would be soon enough causing much worse trouble for Dustin and his friends.
