Stranger Things Season 2: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
2. Jim Hopper
David Harbour's Detective Jim Hopper was a pillar of strength for the kids in the first season, and he once again carries a lot of the show's emotional and narrative weight on his considerable shoulders here.
His relationship with Eleven is the show's best, bringing with it huge amounts of pathos and humour alike, and despite theories he was working with the bad guys he always strives to do what's right by the kids and people of Hawkins. Eleven may have the powers, but Hopper's something of a hero in his own right too. Plus he dances delightfully.
