4. The Return Of The Mind Flayer

Stranger Things is no, well, stranger to gruesome Big Bads.

After scaring the living daylights out of viewers with the terrifying Demogorgon in its freshman offering, the show took us all deeper into the Upside Down in Season 2 to introduce the real Big Bad - The Mind Flayer.

While the previous creature was certainly a worthy antagonist, this shadow monster truly felt like the mastermind behind every supernatural occurrence in Hawkins, so when fans discovered that there would be a new monster featured in Season 3, they were left wondering what that meant for the Mind Flayer because, after all, he was still very much alive.

Thankfully, the new trailer has confirmed that the devilish creature is indeed back and, against all odds, has managed to leave the Upside Down behind in a bid to unleash hell on Hawkins one more time.
