2. Will Gets In On The Action

As thrilling (and gruesome) as the new season appears to be, it's nothing short of heart-warming to see Will Byers involved in the madness.

Ever since the show's debut season, the troubled boy has been at the heart of the Upside Down saga without actually being involved it - initially finding himself dragged into the alternate dimension before he was psychically bonded with it. All of this resulted in him effectively playing a damsel-in-distress role which, while understandable at first, felt a little repetitive by the time the second season closed. It also prevented him from interacting with Eleven, in spite of their strong psychic bond in the first season.

With the Mind Flayer now setting its sights on someone else, it appears that Will shall have a new purpose this season and, as the trailer highlights, he will finally get a chance to be involved in the action.

After all this time, Will The Wise will finally rise.
