1. Everything Feels Bigger

Ever since Netflix unveiled the first teaser for the show's third season, it's felt like this installment has been single-handedly built around the opening of the Starcourt Mall. While that initially just felt like another one of the Duffer Brothers' enthusiastic rides on the nostalgia train, it's now clear that the mall is going to play a much bigger role in the season - simply because it's in the heart of Hawkins.

The Mind Flayer's new deadly plan appears to coincide with the opening of the mall and, by the looks of the trailer, it deliberately pulls the trigger on its uprising when everyone is gathered in the same place at the same time.

From the complete blackout in Hawkins to the new creature's arrival at the mall (not-to-mention the horde of helicopters flying overhead), Season 3 definitely feels like it's going to be a lot bigger than the previous two installments, and that will make for a refreshing change - especially since Season 2 felt like a rehash of the first season's relatively self-contained story.

It seems that, after all this time, the residents of Hawkins will finally discover its best kept secret.

Now for the negative...
