8. That Hilarious Opening Gag

If you can stomach all the 80s-ness, the trailer's opening gag gets things off to a surprisingly hilarious start, as the kids gather at Dustin's house to surprise him with a welcome back party (his shirt suggesting he's just returned from summer camp).

Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) uses her abilities to turn off the boombox and his toys, causing Dustin to turn around suspiciously and be greeted by his friends.

But Dustin instinctively grabs his hairspray and douses Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) in the face with it while screaming like a banshee.

If you were worried that Season 3 was going to be too dark and serious for its own good, think again.
