2. Dreamer Takes Flight

Nia's journey to becoming a superhero has been one of the season's best developed arcs. Slowly progressing her storyline over the course of the season, things took a huge step forward in the last episode when she revealed her gift to her mother in their dreams, solidifying that CatCo's newest reporter was destined to become Dreamer.

Things didn't exactly take off for her upon her return home because she was understandably heartbroken over her mother's death. However, after dreaming about the trouble that was just around the corner from her apartment, she decided to take matters into her own hands. With that, Dreamer was born.

Showing up just in time to save Supergirl from a nasty run-in with Menagerie, Nia helped the Girl of Steel and the D.E.O. contain the threat. In doing so, she made a well-timed and well-executed impact on the show and, although it was brief, her official introduction makes this more than worth getting excited over.
