Supergirl Season 5 Review: 6 Ups & 3 Downs From Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part 1
4. Return To 2046
The episode's subplot saw baby Jonathan Kent's pod disappear as he landed on Earth as, somehow, the ship ended up in an alternate earth - Earth 16. That place and time on that earth just so happened to be Star City 2046 (which is somehow now a parallel earth and not the main earth's timeline).
Storyline discrepancies aside, it was nice to see the White Canary herself, Sara Lance, share a touching moment with the aged one-armed Oliver Queen, as she let him know what happened to her earth's version of Ollie - a moment that made him incredibly emotional, but one that also forced a smile out of that hardened face.
This felt like a tribute to the first season of Arrow and, in the process, also paid tribute to two of the characters that were involved in the event that set the Arrowverse itself in motion. An emotional nod to the show that started it all, and one that made Earth-1 Oliver's demise all the more heartbreaking.
