25. Krypton

It's impossible for any retelling of a Super-person's origin story to not include Krypton, and the planet can be seen here once again just moments before destruction. There's a very slight resemblance to the Krypton of Superman: The Animated Series, but it's also been shot in a way that means you can easily imagine it being part of the Man of Steel version. Laura Benanti is set to have a recurring role as Kara's mother Alura, so flashbacks are a possibility too. It doesn't appear as if the series will focus much on Zor-El though, the brother to Superman's father Jor-El. One particularly funny nod here is that the baby Kal-El already appears to have the famous spit curl Superman will one day be known for having.
