24. Kara's Arrival On Earth

In almost all of the comics depicting Supergirl's arrival on Earth, she shows up later than Superman. That means that despite her being older than him on Krypton, he's now someone she looks up to, especially as he's been serving as Superman for years. The explanation for this (and why she didn't age) is usually the rocket being knocked off course. Here though, it seems like Superman is there when she crash lands and is in fact the one who delivers Kara to her new adopted family. That's an interesting new wrinkle and gives them an early bond. The show was looking for a body double to play Superman during the filming of the pilot, so expect to see him remain in shadow throughout this appearance.
