Supernatural: 10 Most Cringeworthy Moments
5. Lucifer And Michael/Dean's Air Fight
Supernatural had some genuinely pulse-pounding action scenes in its time. Unfortunately, it has also had its fair share of awful ones, and it won't take long to figure out where this one sits on that spectrum. This was a fight with so much build-up and excitement, and what it delivered was difficult to sit through.
This "epic" battle came at the climax of the season 13 finale ", Let The Good Times Roll". It showed as Dean - now acting as the vessel to Michael - took on the dastardly Lucifer, and if there's one word to describe what happened, it's wire.
During the clash, Michael and Lucifer ended up flying into the air, ready for a battle above the onlooker's heads. However, the obvious wireworks made the flying look incredibly fake/amateur. There was no reason for them to be fighting overhead in the first place, so it stank of a cheap attempt to make the conflict more exciting.
Unfortunately, being in the air also meant the combat between them was limited, turning it into an incredibly dull fight with no weight to it. Fans wanted a showdown for the centuries, not a cringeworthy mess. But, the latter is what they got.
